We live in a world where many people believe in power and being able to do what they want. God laughs at the wicked is unknown to many people who are not well versed in the bible. Many people believe they can walk this life living how they want with no consequences.
You see it in many people’s demeanor today. Many people walk around boastful and proud without a care in the world. Many people walk around thinking that they can do whatever they want to whomever they want. However, many fail to realize that there is a God that is watching them (Proverbs 15:3). You see you might be able to fool man but there is the Most High God who sees everything and no one can escape God.
The Meaning of God Laughs At The Wicked
When the bible says that God laughs at the wicked, the scriptures are referring to the Most High God’s judgment on the wicked. The wicked believe that they can do wickedness to people including christians without consequences. However, God is on the throne sitting back laughing at the wicked because God knows that the wicked’s day of judgment is coming. “The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming”(Psalm 37:13).
God Sees The Future
God sees the future as God knows everything before it even happens (Isaiah 46:10). God knows the final end of the wicked. Many wicked people have thought that their sins have gone unpunished because they didn’t get judged on the spot. Remember that God knows how you were born and how you will die.
God knows how the wicked’s final moments will be and many wicked people do not live happily ever after. Many suffer and end up in a dire state at the end of their lives such as health problems or reaping what they sow. God laughs at the wicked as God knows that the wicked will reap what they sow. This is evident in how many wicked people’s lives end up in the end. Examples of wicked people reaping what they sow include
Gang members going to prison or losing their lives in gang violence
A Wicked woman ends up lonely and depressed

How you choose to live your life will always cause you to reap what you sow. You may fool man by acting nice but being a secret devil behind closed doors, but you cannot fool God who sees everything. A wicked person may not reap the consequences today but their day will come when they reap their consequences.
Who Is Considered A Wicked Person?
God’s thoughts and ways are different from us as human beings (Isaiah 55:8-9). What the world views as wickedness is different from the Lord Jesus Christ. The world may only view a person who commits crimes like murder and being a terrorist as being wicked. Yes, these are wicked acts but how God views wickedness is not just limited to major crimes committed.
Those who reject God fall in the same category of wickedness as God does not think like man. A person who ignores God’s voice and lives in rebellion against the word of God is a wicked person in God’s eyes. God views the heart of a person not their outward appearance making the judgment of God based on God’s holy nature.
Examples
For example, a young woman in her 20’s who is physically attractive might be a nice laid back person but if she rejects God’s word to live in sin, she can be seen as a wicked woman by the spirit of God. That man in your neighborhood who is a people person who loves making people happy but he hates God can be seen as a wicked person by the Most High God.
It is not about how nice you are but about living by the standards of God seeking God’s will. God laughs at the wicked as their day of judgment draws near. Being nice won’t get you into heaven but only those who live for Jesus Christ and do his will have eternal life.
Why Do Some Wicked People Prosper?
Some wicked people may appear to have money, cars, houses etc. However, that does not mean that they are truly blessed as God never said that having materialistic possessions makes you blessed. Money, houses, cars along with various other possessions are nice to have but it does not mean that you are blessed.

Your soul needs Jesus Christ as only Jesus Christ can fulfill you. Jesus Christ fills a void that no earthly blessing can fill which is peace and happiness. Only the spirit of God can bring you full happiness. There are people in third world countries who are poor but yet they are happy because they have Jesus Christ. There are people in first world countries like the USA who have money but yet they are angry and depressed. Only God brings real joy beyond money.

My Personal Experience of Seeing Wicked People Fall
In my personal life, I have seen wicked people reap God’s judgment as it is evident that God laughs at the wicked. For example, there was a friend of my mom who had a woman in her church who was sleeping with the married pastor. The pastor’s wife had confronted the woman in adultery with her husband begging her to leave her husband alone. The woman did not listen, causing the pastor’s wife, who was a woman of God to cry out to God. Within 1 month, the woman in adultery with the pastor died from cancer.
Another time there was a person in my birth country Jamaica back when I was born who was harassing my mom who is a follower of Christ. They tried to get my mom kicked out of the house and they showed up with a gun to intimidate my mom but God wouldn’t allow them to do nothing as they left without pulling the gun out on my mom. My mom heard the Lord say that “No one can stop his Glory” which is the glory of God. The same man harassing my mom was shot and killed 2 weeks later.
These are just a few examples as I have seen countless examples of people messing with people especially those who are christians and they reaped what they sow. There was a pastor in Jamaica talking bad about a prophet of God in which the Lord told the prophet what the man was saying behind his back. The same man badmouthing the prophet woke up 2 weeks later with his wife dead in bed next to him suddenly. God laughs at the wicked as they can’t escape God’s judgment.

Judgment Day
God laughs at the wicked as God knows their day is coming and will be very evident on judgment day. Judgment day is a day where everybody from Adam and Eve down to the last generation will face God on judgment day. Everyone will be held accountable for their actions and words. The wicked cannot escape God on judgment day as everyone will stand in the line of judgment.
Your materialistic possessions have no use on judgment day as God is judging your life, not your earthly possessions. The wicked cannot buy their way out or use any social status they had to impress God.
Many wicked people did not even believe in God when they were on earth. Imagine their reaction when they see God on judgment day when they did not even believe in God. If the wicked do not repent, the Lake of Fire is their final judgment where they burn forever (Revelation 21:8).

The wicked may plot, devise evil works and thoughts but the Lord sees them in clear view. The wicked might think that they are prospering now but there is a God who they will answer to. They might think they have gotten away but the day of judgment draws near. The wicked may not reap what they sow today or tomorrow but their judgment will come even if it is 10 years from now.
